Normally, my dryer vent had to be cleaned once maybe twice a year, but grew to 3 to 4 times a year. With only 2 people in my household I felt it was excessive and costly. I began searching for a company that would resolve this issue. Interviewing 3 companies, I chose TXT Home Services with Mike being the main reason for my choice. He didn't charge me a fee to give an estimate, went up in the attic and roof to see what the problem was (cleaned it up while looking), showed me pictures of the problem and offered a solution. He does a flat rate which means he doesn't nickel and dime you for the smaller things. Spending as much time as I needed to answer all my questions, I felt comfortable with his recommendations. My husband and I felt he wasn't corporate and did his work to please his customers not his higher ups or meet a quota. The other 2 companies, one quote had everything including tape used to show the cost and was twice as expensive. The other one was also more expensive and said a team would be sent out to do the work. Mike does the work himself and is of the highest quality and could be your next door neighbor. We're going to have him clean our venting system every year from now on. Very grateful knowing he's out there to take care of anything you need.
